Visiting the Colosseum was one of the most incredible experiences in my life. The historical building is known from history books as well as the stories about Gladiators. Once again the architecture and building techniques are very impressive and it's great to see how well preserved the Colosseum is. In the evening I have also visited the Fountain di Trevi. In the dark, it is breathtaking and just spectacular, particularly with the sound of flowing water which can also be heard in the nearby streets.

The next stop on our trip was Rome. We first visited the Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel.  The architecture was once again breathtaking. Every building was a piece of art and every art piece was simply spectacular, immersed with immense detail and altogether magnificent.    Piet à - Michelangelo The tomb of John Paul II After the uncountable amount of steps, it still wasn't the end! After hundreds of steps and feeling claustrophobic we made it! I wanted to share some more pictures from Venice! As I said in the previous post the architecture and atmosphere in the city is what makes it uniquely attractive, making it difficult to describe you just have to experience it for yourself. My dream came true! I've finally had the opportunity to travel to Italy. Our first stop was Venice. Beautiful but cold! Venice is full of breathtaking architecture, delicious food, colourful, vibrant, and extraordinary masks and of course its uniquely charming canals and narrow streets. I want to share few photos out of the hundreds I've taken of these colourful distinctive streets of Venice. I hope you enjoy it and love it as much as I do! :)

Currently nature is changing its colours. The mornings are becoming colder and crisp... it's also quite windy... welcome to Ireland! :) Golden colourful leaves chestnuts and berries are all signs of the not very liked season :) For me it's a perfect time to sit under several blankets (because one isn't enough) and drink a hot cup of tea or a rich indulgent hot chocolate, but also to enjoy the beautiful vibrant colours and here are just some examples of natures extraordinary changes at this time of year :)

I've recently visited Warsaw. It has been 13 years since I've last visited! A lot has changed, it has developed and it's chasing the biggest European cities in its standards. I love the contrast, when the new meets the old. From my childhood memories the two symbols of summer are poppies and cornflowers. Their contrasting colours and shapes look incredible together.   The gorgeous sunsets also mark the hot season and highlight the beautiful landscape.  Nature is just amazing, have a look! :)  green on green... grasshopper  ladybird :)
