The volcano Teide

The volcano Teide is 3,718m and it's the highest point in Spain. We were at the height of 3,555m where we got by the cable car. The views are just astonishing and it was very windy!

The sky above us was perfectly blue because we were above the clouds! The views, again, resembled an alien landscape with the volcanic, black rocks and a little desert below us.

There was a small desert below the volcano which can also be seen from the top.

Landscapes of Tenerife

I found few more photos from our trip to Tenerife. Roads with scary bends are compensated by breathtaking landscapes with amazing nature and colourful houses. Some of the pictures were taken from the car so the shrubs or trees in front are a little blurred. Los Gigantes, their height can reach up to 500m. They are very impressive.  Playa de la Americas at night. The sunsets are very picturesque and romantic.

Greystones

During one of the rare, sunny days in Ireland, I have visited a small town called Greystones. It is surrounded by mountains with multiple beaches on the other side of the town. The blooming landscape and beautiful shades of blue were the highlights of the views while relaxing on the beaches in Greystones!

Winter wonderland

I joked last night that there will be only 2 cm of snow but never mind... I woke up to see all this snow. It hardly ever happens in Ireland, the last time we had this amount of snow was 2010. It looks stunning and simply beautiful - just have a look!
